May Updates

We are so proud of everything we have accomplished in the month of May! In addition to over 500 ready to eat meals delivered to community members in need, we also supplied over $2400 worth of pantry staples and fresh produce to the Rehoboth and Milton areas, including three bulk deliveries on Memorial Day alone. We are thankful to all our donors and volunteers who continue to make this mission possible.

We are also happy to announce our newest initiative, the TAPTF Beautification Project. This branch of the TAPTF Society will concentrate on cleaning up local parking lots, parks, and other public and private spaces across the Rehoboth and Milton areas. We are always looking for helping hands and this fledgling project is in need of many. This could be a great opportunity for young people looking to become more involved in their community. If you would like to volunteer your time, please visit us at TAPTFSociety.org to learn more, or simply respond to this post.

Thank You to the 100 Women Who Care of Southern Delaware for our recent grant award and donation luncheon at Irish Eyes. This generous donation will help us continue to serve the local community members in need of nutritious meals in the Rehoboth and Milton areas as well as further our overall mission of building a sustainable future. Read the good news here.

The TAPTF Society has partnered with the Lewes Community Garden! LCG has generously allowed us the use of one of their Community Sponsored Garden beds. We will be providing the resources and LCG will provide the volunteers to help maintain it. Read the rest of the storyfeatured in the Cape Gazette here.

Are you trellising your crops? A simple trellis of upcycled wood and fence materials will save your back and knees at harvest time (and keep rabbits from munching). Looking for more Garden Guidance? Connect with us!
