Xīnnián Kuàilè and welcome to the February Newsletter! Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate. 2025 welcomes the Year of the Snake, a symbol of resilience and reinvention. The Snake encourages us to embrace change, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, we possess the strength to redefine ourselves. The world may be filled with uncertainties and challenges, but if we take a lesson from the Snake, we know that our growth comes from our flexibility. The Snake encourages introspection and strategic thinking, he adapts to his surroundings with confidence and grace. Let the Year of the Snake encourage you to remain focused on your goals with versatility and resourcefulness. Our strength lies in our ability to evolve.
As we take a moment to thank our donors and volunteers, I want to remind you all that there are many ways to volunteer with the TAPTF Society. From kitchen prep to delivery drivers, we are happy to have volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. In the month of January, we received $11,409 worth of dry goods, produce and proteins, which we processed and supplemented into $27,398 worth of donations, bringing the grand total to 4975 nutritious and delicious meals delivered to neighbors in need.
With the Snake’s wisdom, adaptability, and strategic thinking, this year let us navigate our journeys with intention, emerging renewed and empowered to face whatever lies ahead together.
